KEXP/Seattle Moves Into New Home At The Seattle Center

A New Chapter

Eclectic noncomm Triple A/Alternative KEXP/SEATTLE begins broadcasting tomorrow morning (12/9) at 9.03a from its new home at SEATTLE CENTER. The station has been at its current studios since 2001.

PD KEVIN COLE said in his weekly newsletter, “Our new home is designed to reach more music lovers, break down barriers between listeners and their favorite artists, and make it even easier to share new music and experiences with KEXP community members all over the world.”

KEXP Dir./Business and Operations DENISE BURNSIDE said that the new SEATTLE CENTER location will provide opportunities for KEXP to collaborate with nearby VERA PROJECT, SEATTLE INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL, and EXPERIENCE MUSIC PROJECT in the future.
