RIAA Certifies 'Straight Outta Compton' Triple-Platinum; 'Poker Face,' 'Thrift Shop' 10 Times Platinum

The RIAA has announced its platinum certifications for the month of NOVEMBER, which includes 21 multi-platinum singles, 11 platinum singles, 27 gold singles, two Latin platinum albums, three Latin gold albums, two multi-platinum albums and three gold albums.
N.W.A.'s classic 1989 album, "Straight Outta COMPTON," fueled by the hit motion picture, was certified for three million in shipments, while PANIC! AT THE DISCO's 2005 release, "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out," nabbed double-platinum status.
Of the 21 newly minted multi-platinum singles, both LADY GAGA's "Poker Face" and MACKLEMORE & RYAN LEWIS' "Thrift Shop" topped the list with 10 times platinum certification.
Among the singles released this year, THE WEEKND's "The Hills" went five-times-platinum, and FIFTH HARMONY's "Worth It" featuring KID INK went triple-platinum, while "FALL OUT BOY's "UMA THURMAN," JASON DeRULO's "Want To Want Me," JUSTIN BIEBER's "What Do You Mean," MAJOR LAZER's "Lean On" (featuring MO and DJ SNAKE) and SHAWN MENDES' "Stitches" all achieved double-platinum.
