Former CBS Local Media COO Anton Guitano Dies

Condolences to family and friends of recently retired CBS LOCAL MEDIA COO and former CBS RADIO CFO ANTON GUITANO, who died after a battle with cancer TUESDAY (12/8) at 65.

GUITANO worked at PRICE WATERHOUSE before joining CBS in 1978 in its internal audit department, rising to become Controller for CBS television, then eventually CFO and Senior EVP, Operations for CBS RADIO.  He moved to CBS LOCAL MEDIA, including the company's local radio and TV stations and digital assets, as COO in 2009.

Visitation is TODAY 2-4p and 7-9p (ET) at CARGAIN FUNERAL HOME in MAHOPAC, NY, with a Mass of Christian burial at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST CATHOLIC CHURCH in MAHOPAC.  Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in GUITANO's memory to the AMERICAN INSTITUTE FOR CANCER RESEARCH (AICR.org) or the PRESTON ROBERT TISCH BRAIN TUMOR CENTER (www.cancer.duke.edu/btc).
