As first reported earlier TODAY (12/11), ZAC BROWN BAND will move to BIG MACHINE LABEL GROUP's DOT RECORDS imprint beginning in FEBRUARY, as the SOUTHERN GROUND promotion team is dissolved. SOUTHERN GROUND finalized an in-house promotion staff in SEPTEMBER of 2012 (NET NEWS 9/27/2012).
SOUTHERN GROUND VPs CHUCK SWANEY and MARA SIDWEBER, Dirs./Regional Promotion NEDA TOBIN and PAUL WILLIAMS, and Dir./Syndication CLAY HENDERSON will work the current ZBB single, "Beautiful Drug," through the end of JANUARY before DOT picks up promotional efforts.
In a statement from BMLG, it was noted that "BIG MACHINE LABEL GROUP's DOT RECORDS imprint will immediately join in on all promotional efforts so as to not lose any momentum on the current single." Stay tuned for more information.
