Price For KJAC/Denver Sale: $3 Million

The price which COMMUNITY RADIO FOR NORTHERN COLORADO is paying for Sports KJAC (105.5 ESPN)/TIMNATH-DENVER from FRONT RANGE SPORTS NETWORK, LLC is $3 million, according to the contract filed with the FCC.  The price was not disclosed when the deal was initially announced.  The buyer plans to move the Triple A format of KUNC/GREELEY, CO to KJAC's frequency and expand News-Talk programming on KUNC.  The KJAC signal rimshots DENVER from the north but covers the FORT COLLINS-GREELEY and CHEYENNE areas and has a booster in BOULDER.

In other filings with the FCC, MANNA CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES, INC. is selling Religion WCRM-A/FORT MYERS, FL to GENESIS MULTIMEDIA GROUP, LLC for $450,000 ($50,000 down, the rest in a promissory note).

MICHAEL A. CUOMO is transferring his 50% interest in TRINITY MEDIA, LTD., licensee of Religion WLNL-A/HORSEHEADS-ELMIRA, NY, to 50% partner JAMES R. PIERCE, SR. for no stated consideration; the filing states that "Mr. CUOMO has dropped out of the organization."

CAROL BURROW, President of WHITTIMORE ENTERPRISES and administratrix of the estate of ELIZABETH BERNICE WHITTIMORE, is selling Country WVFB (KIX COUNTRY)/CELINA, TN and Country WKWY (KIX COUNTRY) and Country WTKY-A-F/TOMPKINSVILLE-BOWLING GREEN, KY to FRANK KEETON AIRCASTERS, INC. for $400,000.

EDGEWATER BROADCASTING, INC. is selling K290BS/BATESVILLE, AR to MOR MEDIA, INC. for $30,000.

FIRST VENTURES CAPITAL PARTNERS, INC. is selling K288FF/BISMARCK, ND to JAMES D. INGSTAD's RADIO FARGO-MOORHEAD, INC. for $50,000.

EDUCATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS OF COLORADO SPRINGS, INC. is selling K268CM/TRINIDAD, CO to MAINSTREET BROADCASTING COMPANY, INC. in exchange for lease space on one of the buyer's towers near TRINIDAD for 10 years with a renewal term of an additional 10 years at $200/month.  The seller is also transferring K274CU/ALAMOSA, CO to the buyer for a 14 year lease on a tower near WALSENBURG, CO with an additional 10 year renewal term at $350/month.

TOWNSQUARE MEDIA ONEONTA LICENSE, LLC has requested a Silent STA for WCHN-A/NORWICH, NY due to problems with the base insulator of its tower.

WGUN, INC. has closed on the sale of Spanish Religion WTZA-A (VIDA 1010AM)/ATLANTA to K&Z BROADCASTING, LLC for $1.1 million. The buyers have been programming the station under a time brokerage agreement since earlier this year.

And FOUR CORNERS BROADCASTING LLC has closed on the sale of K285AN/MONTICELLO-BLANDING, UT to SOUTHWEST COLORADO TELEVISION TRANSLATOR ASSOCIATION for $1,500.  BEN F. STINSON, III has also closed on the donation of K292AX/CORTEZ, NM to SOUTHWEST COLORADO TV TRANSLATOR ASSOCIATION, which in turn closed on the sale of K222AD/CORTEZ, CO to WINTON ROAD BROADCASTING CO., LLC for $2,700.  The latter translator will rebroadcast News-Talk KVFC-A/CORTEZ, CO.
