The TEXAS RANGERS have officially added DAVE RAYMOND to its broadcast team for the 2016 season.
RAYMOND, the former HOUSTON ASTROS announcer and MLB.COM "MLB.COM FULL COUNT" and "HOT STOVE LEAGUE" studio host and play-by-play announcer who worked seven preseason RANGERS telecasts last season, will call about 45 regular season games on the TV side for FOX SPORTS SOUTHWEST, with regular TV play-by-play voice STEVE BUSBY moving to the analyst's role for those games, and will work selected games on the radio side for CBS RADIO Sports KRLD-F (105.3 THE FAN)/DALLAS and the RANGERS RADIO NETWORK, giving Hall of Fame radio announcer ERIC NADEL some nights off. TOM GRIEVE will remain primary TV analyst, working the games for which BUSBY calls the play-by-play, and MATT HICKS is returning as radio analyst.
