CBS RADIO Sports WIP and News-Talk WPHT-A/PHILADELPHIA OM ANDY BLOOM exits in what appears to be the latest budget cuts affecting the cluster.
“It is part of another restructure and strictly a budgetary move,” BLOOM told PHILLY.COM. “That has happened across the industry over the past several years. It's been an incredible 8 years with CBS/PHILLY.”
SVP/Market Mgr. DAVID YADGAROFF didn't explain the move, only confirming that BLOOM "is no longer with CBS RADIO."
BLOOM was named PD at WIP in 2007, and was upped to OM in 2008.
