iHEARTMEDIA Top 40 KBKS (106.1 KISS FM)/SRATTLE raised an incredible $804,236 in just 13 hours on THURSDAY to bring it's 14 year Radiothon total to over $14 million dollars. Morning star BENDER’s "One Big KISS for SEATTLE CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL Radiothon brought the stories of Children’s patients, families, staff and volunteers to their listeners across the region (and the U.S. via iHEARTRADIO), who responded with generous donations.
"Saying thank you doesn't quite cover it, but I'll give it a shot," commented BENDER, "MOLLY, KAT and I thank you for calling in again and again and donating to SEATTLE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL. Thank you from the bottom of my heart."
In addition to the money raised, BENDER was honored by SEATTLE CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL CEO, DR. JEFFREY SPERRING, who presented BENDER with the Cause Marketing Silver Halo Award. The award celebrates BENDER's ongoing philanthropic efforts benefiting SEATTLE CHILDREN's and CMN.
