'SAGA COMMUNICATIONS Classic Rock WKLH (HOMETOWN ROCK 96.5)/MILWAUKEE morning man DAVE LUCZAK shared the news that the MILWAUKEE RADIO GROUP and WATERSTONE BANK have created the BRITTANY ROBERTSON FUND. The fund was created to take in donations for ROBERTSON, who had just moved back to MILWAUKEE with her 3 children from GEORGIA, and whose car was stolen FRIDAY.
In the trunk was a specialized wheelchair for her daughter AMOR that costs thousands of dollars and could take months to replace. Without this wheelchair, AMOR cannot go to school and has to be carried around the house.
“GINO SALOMONE is part of our WKLH morning show, and also works at FOX 6 who covered this story. When he told me about it, we decided to come up with a way to help the family out. A mom with 3 kids shouldn’t have to go through hardship like this during the holidays. I am confident that Milwaukeeans will step up to the plate and help the Robertsons out,” said LUCZAK.
Donations can be mailed or dropped off at any WATERSTONE BANK location. Checks should be made out to WATERSTONE BANK with the notation BRITTANY ROBERTSON FUND. The account will be open thru 1/31/2016.
More info and an interview with BRITTANY ROBERTSON is available here.
