The parties have been programming each other's stations since SEPTEMBER 2014 with an option to swap licenses. SBS has indicated that it will enter the incentive spectrum auction with the TV licenses.
PRAISE BROADCASTING has closed on the sale of Religion KNOF (PRAISE FM)/ST. PAUL, MN to the NORTHERN LIGHTS BROADCASTING, LLC for $7.95 million. NORTHERN LIGHTS, controlled by the POHLAD family (which also owns the MINNESOTA TWINS), also owns Alternative KTWN-F (GO 96.3)/EDINA-MINNEAPOLIS. KNOF, with new call letters KZGO, will flip to Top 40/Rhythmic as "GO 95.3" this afternoon (1/5).
