'Nine FM' Contest Winners Come Clean

IVORY SOAP teamed with radio stations across the country to find the next IVORY family -- last seen in IVORY's advertising 40 years ago -- and the winner comes from the regional search conducted by NEWSWEB's CHICAGO-area "NINE FM" Adult Hits trimulcast of WDEK, WKIE & WRZA. SANDRA MECKLENBURG; her 6-year-old daughter, ALEXANDRA; and her 52-year-old mother, MARYROSE BELL, who won NINE FM's regional contest back on APRIL 11, have been awarded the grand prize of a year's supply of IVORY soap and a $40,000 scholarship.

"While all the families who participated were fantastic, we are excited to have Chicago taking home the gold -- or lavender, as it might be," says NINE FM PD/afternoober MATT DuBIEL.
