Billy Joel Channel Returns To SiriusXM January 15th

The BILLY JOEL CHANNEL will return to SIRIUSXM on JANUARY 15th, an exclusive channel featuring the works of the iconic entertainer featuring music spanning the ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAMEr's career, including songs from each of his live and studio albums. Listeners will also hear JOEL introducing songs each hour, offering insight into their significance, meaning, composition and recording.

The channel will also feature four exclusive weekly shows hosted by JOEL. The show will feature him playing recordings that influenced his own work, including songs by THE BEATLES, THE FOUR SEASONS, BEETHOVEN, PROCOL HARUM, plus doo-wop hits, movie themes and more. Hosting the show while sitting behind the piano, BILLY will also perform snippets of the songs that impacted his repertoire. That show will premiere on SATURDAY, JANUARY 16th at 6p (ET).

The SIRIUSXM channel will also include special guest DJ sessions, "BILLY JOEL Top Ten," hosted by his friends, including GARTH BROOKS and DON HENLEY, playing their favorite BILLY JOEL songs.

The limited-run channel will launch on FRIDAY, JANUARY 15th at 5p (ET) and will air through SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 14th, via satellite on channel 18, online and through the SIRIUSXM app.
