Entercom Settles Jewelry Lawsuit

ENTERCOM COMMUNICATIONS CORP. has settled with plaintiff L.A. GEM AND JEWELRY DESIGN, INC. in the latter's lawsuit over sales of jewelry that allegedly infringed on a design owned by the plaintiff.  Terms of the settlement were not disclosed.

L.A. GEM AND JEWELRY DESIGN, INC. initially sued CUMULUS MEDIA, INC. and its SWEETJACK, LLC subsidiary, and three other defendants, over the alleged infringement in 2014 but the case was dismissed in JANUARY 2015; the plaintiff then refiled the case in the same CALIFORNIA Central District Court on SEPTEMBER 29, 2015, adding ENTERCOM and several more defendants.
