CUMULUS MEDIA Urban AC WMGU (MAGIC 106.9)/FAYETTEVILLE, NC has promoted APD ALYSSE STEWART to PD.  She will also continue in her capacity as midday host.

STEWART told ALL ACCESS, “Two years ago, MAURICE DEVOE believed enough in me and my talent and made the decision to invite me into the CUMULUS MEDIA family. I appreciate him so much.  In the past 2 years I've learned a lot from My Operations Manager KELVIN CULBRETH, KENNY SMOOV and JEFF DAVIS.  Along with the knowledge they have all shared, I'm confident I will have continued success in my new position.  I have grown as a talent and programmer.  I could thank many people for preparing me for this day.  However, I hear the music playing.  So I will say this, CY YOUNG, TERRY BASE and GEORGE COOK, thank you.  No need to say why, you know of your contributions to my growth in radio and as an individual."
