SCRIPPS Top 40 KHTT (106.9 K-HITS)/TULSA has made a number of personnel changes, according to a note sent by PD JOHN ROBERTS to ALL ACCESS this afternoon.
MD CHASE THOMPSON has exited, as has night slammer JEREMY YOUNG, and that the morning show will be broken up into two shifts -- with an all-new morning show coming in.
"We're just beginning our search for a new morning show," said ROBERTS. "An official job posting with specifics will be ready to launch soon. For now, experienced morning teams/individuals interested in the slot can email their introductory info to me: john.roberts@scripps.com."
As of YESTERDAT *JANUARY 12th), the station has split up the "TOMMY & DANIELLE" morning team. TOMMY JORDAN has moved over to Afternoons (2-7p), while DANIELLE ANGELINA handles a "music-intensive" Morning show during the interim, continuing through the first part of Middays (6-11a).
ALY PRESSER from ZIMMER RADIO Top 40 KSYN (KISSIN 92.5)/JOPLIN, MO, has been brought in to take over the K-HITS night show (7p-12a) later this month, replacing JEREMY YOUNG, who originally started as night jock but had moved to a hybrid 4-9p shift last summer. YOUNG originally exited the station in early NOVEMBER.
In the re-organization of programming department MD CHASE THOMPSON's position has been eliminated.
Added ROBERTS, who will take on the MD and APD-related duties: "CHASE had poured himself into various roles at K-HITS for many years and I have no doubt he'll do a great job in his next situation."
In addition, the station has also a pair of "signature voices" in STEVE DUBBZ and JESSICA DiCICCIO, who will be part of the stations's all-new imaging elements beginning next week.
