Alberto Mier y Terán Named GM At KFMB-A-F-TV/San Diego

ALBERTO MIER Y TERÁN is returning to the MIDWEST TELEVISION, INC. SAN DIEGO cluster -- CBS and ME-TV affiliate KFMB-TV (CBS 8), News-Talk KFMB-A, Rock/Classic Alternative KFMB-F (100.7 KFM-BFM), and KFMB INTERACTIVE -- as GM.  (The radio stations are operated in a partnership with LOCAL MEDIA SAN DIEGO under the SDLOCAL banner.)

MIER Y TERÁN worked for KFMB in local and regional sales 20 years ago before stints in management at ENTRAVISION and UNIVISION, most recently as EVP of UNIVISION TELEVISION GROUP in 2014-15.  He perviously served as SVP/GM at UNIVISION O&O KMEX-TV (UNIVISION 34) and UNIMÁS affiliate KFTR-TV (UNI MAS 46)/LOS ANGELES, VP/GM at UNIVISION O&O WGBO-TV (UNIVISION 66) and UNIMÁS/TELEFUTURA affiliate WXFT-TV/CHICAGO, and VP/GM of ENTRAVISION UNIVISION affiliate KBNT-LD (UNIVISION 17) and TELEFUTURAL affiliate KDTF-LD/SAN DIEGO.
