Former WBAL/Baltimore Anchor Alan Walden Running For Mayor

Former HEARST News-Talk WBAL-A/BALTIMORE morning news anchor ALAN WALDEN has announced his candidacy for Mayor of BALTIMORE.

WBAL reports that WALDEN, host of the station's morning news block from 1988 to 1998 an a veteran of radio news in NEW YORK and other markets, will run as a Republican in the mayoral primary in APRIL.  

"I believe I can carry to the voters ... a message that will give them the kind of hope that is required to establish the city as the great place it truly is," WALDEN told WBAL. "I am convinced that the good people of the city of BALTIMORE are willing to listen to a new voice with a new message."
