Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, Adele, Little Big Town First Performers Announced For Grammys, To Be Carried Live On West Coast

Two-time GRAMMY winner KENDRICK LAMAR, GRAMMY winners LITTLE BIG TOWN and THE WEEKND, and 10-time GRAMMY winner ADELE are the first performers announced for the 58th GRAMMY AWARDS. THE WEEKND and LITTLE BIG TOWN will be making their GRAMMY stage debuts. A special tribute to 2016 MUSICCARES Person of the Year LIONEL RICHIE will highlight the GRAMMY winner's wide-ranging career. Additional performers will be announced shortly.
This year's top GRAMMY nominee with 11, LAMAR is up for Album Of The Year and Best Rap Album for "To Pimp A Butterfly"; Song Of The Year and Best Rap Performance for "Alright"; Best Rap Song for "All Day" and "Alright"; Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for "Bad Blood" (with TAYLOR SWIFT); Best Music Video for "Alright" and "Bad Blood"; Best Dance Recording for "Never Catch Me" (with FLYING LOTUS); and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for "These Walls."
LITTLE BIG TOWN are nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for "Girl Crush"; and Best Country Album for "Pain Killer."
THE WEEKND received seven nominations: Record Of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Can't Feel My Face"; Album Of The Year and Best Urban Contemporary Album for "Beauty Behind The Madness"; and Best R&B Performance, Best R&B Song and Best Song Written For Visual Media for "Earned It (Fifty Shades Of Grey)."
Returning to the GRAMMY stage after four years, ADELE will perform a track from her chart-topping album, "25."
In other GRAMMY news, for the first time, CBS will offer affiliates and owned stations in the PACIFIC and MOUNTAIN time zones the option of broadcasting the GRAMMY AWARDS live on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 15th. In those regions, the broadcast will be live from 5-8:30p (PT) and 6-9:30p (MT).
Stations in the PACIFIC time zone that air the event live will also rebroadcast the entire GRAMMY AWARDS telecast in prime time immediately following the live presentation.
