LEN BLAVATNIK’s ACCESS INDUSTRIES, which owns WARNER MUSIC GROUP, has invested about $110 million in streaming music service DEEZER.
re/code reports, "DEEZER says it will use the new money to 'increase customer acquisition efforts'." That's the same use the company said last FALL, when it announced it was going to go public and raise around $330 million in the process. DEEZER didn't followup with that offering in 2015, blaming “market conditions.”
