Minor league baseball's OKLAHOMA CITY DODGERS will return to iHEARTMEDIA Sports KGHM-A (1340 THE GAME)/OKLAHOMA CITY under a contract extension that will run through the 2018 season. The DODGERS (formerly the REDHAWKS), Triple A affiliate of the LOS ANGELES DODGERS, have aired on the station since 2011. ALEX FREEDMAN returns for his fifth season calling the games.
In addition, THE GAME and sister News-Talk KTOK-A will continue to be affiliates of the LOS ANGELES DODGERS network, with most games airing on KTOK; the major league team will air on THE GAME when no OKC DODGERS game conflicts.
"This was an easy decision for both parties involved," said OKC DODGERS Pres./GM MICHAEL BYRNES. "We've had nothing but a great experience working with iHEARTMEDIA. This partnership has been valuable for both sides, and we look forward to continue to improve upon it."
"iHEARTMEDIA OKLAHOMA CITY and 1340 THE GAME are very excited to continue our partnership with the DODGERS," said iHEARTMEDIA OKLAHOMA CITY Market Pres. BILL HURLEY. "Our association with the DODGERS continues to be a great way to extend our brand on THE GAME and on the iHEARTRADIO mobile app."
