Longtime Chicago Radio, TV Host, Anchor Jim Conway Dies At 95

Condolences to family and friends of CHICAGO radio and television personality and news anchor JIM CONWAY, who died last week of natural causes at 95.
CONWAY began his CHICAGO radio career at WBBM-A in the 1940s after a stint at WISN-A/MILWAUKEE radio; he hosted at WBBM and WMAQ-A on radio and hosted "IN TOWN TONIGHT" on CBS O&O WBBM-TV, "THE JIM CONWAY MORNING SHOW" on ABC O&O WLS-TV, and "THE JIM CONWAY SHOW" on TRIBUNE independent WGN-TV through 1970. He also anchored newscasts on WGN-TV and WBBM-TV. Later, he was active at the MUSEUM OF BROADCAST COMMUNICATIONS in CHICAGO.
