Bandier To Bolt EMI For WMG Post?

According to a report on MSNBC.COM, EMI MUSIC PUBLISHING Chairman & Co-CEO MARTIN BANDIER has had talks with EMI suitor WMG head EDGAR BRONFMAN about a position at WMG. No official comment from BANDIER or EMI other than to say that BANDIER is under contract.

However, there is a succession plan, where BANDIER's deputy, ROGER FAXON will become sole CEO of the group in six months, followed by BANDIER's retirement a year later. Word is BANDIER will soon meet with EMI about his future as he's reportedly reviewing other opportunities besides WMG.
