As originally reported last NIGHT (1/28) in an ALL ACCESS bulletin, iHEARTMEDIA/SAN ANTONIO SVP/Programming LANCE TIDWELL has exited after six months with the cluster. TIDWELL came to SAN ANTONIO in AUGUST, previously serving as OM at the company’s TUCSON cluster (NET NEWS 8/4). In addition to his oversight of all eight stations in SAN ANTONIO, TIDWELL handled day-to-day programming on Country KAJA.

On FACEBOOK THURSDAY night (1/28), TIDWELL said: “After being with the company on and off since 1997, my position was 'eliminated' TODAY after a VERY short stay in SAN ANTONIO. If you are trying to reach me you can find me at lance.tidwell@gmail.com. I am extremely grateful for the years spent working at something I love. Now I get to choose what the next chapter looks like, and I will land softly and will be back to work soon. Now to the gym."

Previous stops in TIDWELL’s radio career include ENTERCOM Country KKWF/SEATTLE, and then-CITADEL Country WGKX/MEMPHIS and KQFC/BOISE, ID.
