Former EAGLES bandmate JOE WALSH sent his first tweet since the passing of GLENN FREY in support of having a street in the CITY OF ROYAL OAK, MI, his hometown, renamed GLENN FREY DRIVE, a campaign spearheaded by GREATER MEDIA Classic Rock WCSX (94.7)/ DETROIT.

WCSX has already met with officials of the city and the ROYAL OAK SCHOOL BOARD and found a stretch of Willis Ave that can be renamed GLENN FREY DRIVE.
The next big milestone will occur on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 11th when the proposal will go to the school board for a vote.
