The LATIN SONGWRITERS HALL OF FAME announced the 24 songwriters and composers nominated for the fourth classic of inductees.  The final six elected nomineed will be inducted at the LA MUSA AWARDS on OCTOBER 13th at the FILMORE MIAMI BEACH JACKIE GLEASON THEATER.

Among the notables at the press conference to announce the nominees included LATIN GRAMMY winner and founder of the band ORISHA YOUTUEL, SPANISH singer/songwriter/actress BEATRIZ LUENGO, three-time GRAMMY winner ROBERT BLADES (brother of RUBEN), LOUIS AMANTI, COLUMBIAN singer/composer ALICASTRO and CUBAN Bolero singer CACHITA LOPEZ, as well as LSHOF CEO DESMOND CHILD and President RUDY PEREZ.

The voting period started last night (JANUARY 28th), immediately after the press conference, and will close MARCH 15th at MIDNIGHT (ET).  The final Latin Songwriter Hall Of Fame  inductees will be announced during the 2016 BILLBOARD LATIN MUSIC CONFERENCE in APRIL.
