Stolz Files Against Entercom-CBS Deal

ED STOLZ is taking another shot at ENTERCOM, filing a Petition To Deny against ENTERCOM's purchase of stations in AUSTIN, CINCINNATI, MEMPHIS, and ROCHESTER from CBS RADIO.

STOLZ (head of ROYCE INTERNATIONAL BROADCASTING) and ENTERCOM have been at odds for years over the deal that saw STOLZ' KWOD/SACRAMENTO sold to ENTERCOM, and the latest filing through SMITHWICK AND BELENDIUK charges that ENTERCOM is in financial trouble and raises character issues based on NEW YORK Attorney General ELIOT SPITZER's payola investigation involving both ENTERCOM and CBS.
