'WBCN Free Form' Replaced By 'The Lounge' On WZLX's HD3 Channel In Boston

CBS RADIO/BOSTON has pulled the plug on it's 'WBCN Free Form' format and replaced it with an Adult Standards mix.

VP/Programming MIKE THOMAS confirmed to ALL ACCESS, "On FRIDAY, we signed off WBCN FREE FORM ROCK on 100.7 WZLX-HD3. Our other WBCN channel, THE ROCK OF BOSTON, is still broadcasting on 98.5 WBZ-F-HD2. We launched a station based on the sound of LAS VEGAS and THE RAT PACK on 100.7 WZLX-HD3. It's called 'The Lounge', and both stations can be streamed on the radio.com app."
