Reports: Signs Point To Imminent Launch Of Google Play's Podcast Platform

Is GOOGLE PLAY's podcast platform about to launch? TECHCRUNCH reports that some users of the Android app are seeing a podcast section appear in the menu, and podcasts are now available for subscription to those users, although most users are not yet seeing that section in the menu and no formal announcement has been made.

THE VERGE also notes that on TUESDAY, BILL SIMMONS posted a tweet that said his "BS PODCAST" "will be available on GOOGLE PLAY when GP launches its podcast platform later this month," but deleted the tweet shortly thereafter.
