WPLR's Chaz & AJ Enjoying Immediate Success With 'Tradio'

In a week's time, COX Rock WPLR/NEW HAVEN, CT morning team "CHAZ & AJ" have parlayed a stick of glue into a $6,000 car with their "Tradio" saga. Each morning, CHAZ and AJ go on the air with a traded item. Listeners call in and trade them for a new (more valuable) item. When that happens, the morning team makes the trade. Simple.

"Tradio" will continue until the annual "CHAZ & AJ TOY DRIVE FOR THE KIDS OF CONNECTICUT," which will air from 5:30a-10a on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 15, 2006. On or before that date, the final "Tradio" item will be auctioned off to the highest bidder. Last year, the toy drive collected over $60,000 dollars in donations.
