RECORDS Adds John Strazza To Its Staff

RECORDS, the newly-formed independent record label partnership between BARRY WEISS and SONGS MUSIC PUBLISHING, has made a new addition to its burgeoning promotional team adding JOHN STRAZZA, most recently the SVP/Promotion at RCA RECORDS to spearhead EAST COAST efforts.

STRAZZA will work out of the company’s NEW YORK office. STRAZZA has many years of music industry experience, including stints at COLUMBIA’s Radio Promo department, where his career began, as well as VP/Top 40 Radio Promo for JIVE RECORDS.

“I’m really excited to be reuniting with JOHN,” said BARRY WEISS. “Besides being a great record and promotion executive, his entrepreneurial spirit -- born out of our time at JIVE RECORDS together -- suits our forward-thinking independent vision at RECORDS.”
