Josh Brolin To Play George Jones In Big-Screen Biopic

During a recent interview with CONAN O'BRIEN, OSCAR-nominated actor JOSH BROLIN revealed he will star as Country legend GEORGE JONES in a big-screen adaptation revolving around JONES' life and career. BROLIN also revealed that two-time OSCAR-nominated actress JESSICA CHASTAIN is slated to take on the role of JONES' former wife and duet partner, TAMMY WYNETTE.

While no release date has been set for the film, OSCAR-nominated writer ALAN WENKUS has signed on to pen the screenplay. JONES' widow, NANCY, is said to be heavily involved in the production of the film, which currently has the working title "No Show JONES."
