Chris K Adds APD Duties At KDND/Sacramento

New Duties

ENTERCOM Top 40 KDND (107.9 THE END) MD CHRIS K has added APD duties effective this week according to station PD TIM "RAYNE" RAINEY.  

RAYNE told ALL ACCESS, "Since CHRIS joined KDND as night host and later became the station’s first-ever MD in 1998, he has been the face of 107.9 THE END and the (unofficial) MAYOR OF SACRAMENTO. His impressive 17 years with KDND is almost unheard of in our industry. His passion for music, desire to win and drive for success helped make this promotion to APD a ‘no-brainer’. In addition to his new APD responsibilities, he will also continue as the APD/MD for STAR 106.5 and MD for 107.9 THE END."

RAYNE continued, "In the short time I’ve been in SACRAMENTO, I’ve really enjoyed working with CHRIS. From his sharp ear on emerging music for both KDND and KUDL and his knowledge of all things NORTHERN CALIFORNIA, he is a great asset to the programming department and I’m looking forward to many years to come working with CHRIS. Oh and being a GIANTS fan also was a big part of the decision."
