KPAM And KATU-TV/Portland Host, Comedian Dave Anderson Dies At 55

Condolences to family and friends of PAMPLIN News-Talk KPAM-A/PORTLAND afternoon "MARK AND DAVE" co-host DAVE ANDERSON, who died SUNDAY night (2/7) of cancer at 55.  ANDERSON, also co-host of ABC affiliate KATU-TV's "AM NORTHWEST" since 2007, had been battling pancreatic cancer for the past two years.  He was also a standup comic; he and MASON began hosting together on crosstown iHEARTMEDIA News-Talk KEX-A and moved to KPAM in 2013.

On the show's FACEBOOK page, ANDERSON's co-host MARK MASON posted, "I lost my best friend tonight. Through the many conversations I have had with DAVE about the potential for this moment, it's still difficult to accept. I can tell you his wonderful wife and loving family were with him, easing his and everyone else's burden, a beautiful sight to behold. Of course, there are lots of tears, including my own. Buddy, buddy, buddy. Rest in Peace."

On ANDERSON's FACEBOOK page, prominent comics including CATHY LADMAN and WILL DURST joined fans and friends in posting condolences.
