CUMULUS MEDIA Hot AC WRQX (MIX 107.3)/WASHINGTON, D.C. has appointed 25-year radio veteran JASON KIDD as its afternoon-drive personality. While continuing as President and Advisor/Brand Developer at NEW GENERATION RADIO, KIDD will debut on MIX 107.3 on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 15th.
KIDD has spent a decade at various major-market CBS RADIO stations and before that, five years with CLEAR CHANNEL ENTERTAINMENT and six-and-a-half years at SIRIUS/XM. “JASON KIDD is an incredible talent and brings 'Stationality' to MIX 107.3 in afternoon drive," WRQX PD LOUIE DIAZ said. "We are thrilled to have him driving our listeners home in WASHINGTON, D.C.”
"I just couldn't stay away!" KIDD said. "It is so great to be back in the Nation's Capital! I grew up with this frequency, along with the JACK DIAMOND Morning Show. It is so exciting to be a part of such an iconic brand and an honor to join the list of so many great talents who have graced the airwaves on 107.3 over the years. I want to thank Market Manager JAKE MCCANN, PD LOUIE DIAZ and CUMULUS SVP/Content and Programming MIKE MCVAY for this awesome opportunity!"
