Greensboro-Winston Salem Personality George Lee Passes Away

Condolences to family and friends of actor and former WSJS-A-WTQR/WINSTON SALEM-GREENSBORO PD GEORGE LEE, who died in WINSTON-SALEM FRIDAY at 67 from pancreatic cancer, according to the WINSTON-SALEM JOURNAL. LEE was one of the personalities at 1960s Top 40 station WTOB-A and later programmed WSJS and WTQR before concentrating on acting and voiceover work, including narration for SPEED CHANNEL's "BEYOND THE WHEEL" and acting roles in "PATCH ADAMS" and other films and TV shows.
