WZPL/Indianapolis Ready To Pub-Crawl For Cancer

ENTERCOM COMMUNICATIONS Top 40 WZPL (99.5)/INDIANAPOLIS will hold a "Crawl for Cancer Indy" pub-crawl through Broad Ripple to support lifesaving cancer research on SATURDAY, APRIL 9th.

“We’re very motivated to help CRAWL FOR CANCER achieve record participation for a second consecutive year," ENTERCOM/INDIANAPOLIS Market Manager JENNIFER SKJODT said. “Our radio stations, along with CRAWL FOR CANCER and our generous listeners get to be part of the story where a cure for cancer is found.”

CRAWL FOR CANCER was started by a group of friends who wanted to have fun while raising money for a good cause. Teams will be formed in groups of 10 to 12 people, including the team captain. Teams will travel to five bars where they will be given four tickets valid for four pitchers of beer. The pub-crawl begins promptly at 1p on Saturday runs until 5p. Teams are invited to head back to the after-party at THE VOGUE, where there will be music and beer until 7p.

The registration deadline is MARCH 21st or whenever the maximum number of teams is reached. A $450 entry fee ($45/person for a team of 10).  he entry fee includes T-shirts, beer for the Crawl and admission to the after-party.

All participants are also encouraged to take advantage of the Safe Ride program. For every 10 canned goods one bring to donate to a local food pantry, they’ll receive $10 in taxi vouchers. Cans will be collected at T-shirt pick-up the day before the CRAWL and from noon-2p the day of the CRAWL.
