SiriusXM Announces Daytona 500 Plans For 15th Season Of NASCAR Coverage

SIRIUSXM will begin its 15th season covering NASCAR with comprehensive coverage of the 58th running of the DAYTONA 500 on FEBRUARY 21st, including the live race broadcast, in-car audio from some of the sport’s top drivers, and daily coverage from DAYTONA INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY on SIRIUSXM NASCAR RADIO (channel 90).

On race day, SIRIUSXM will offer 15 hours of live programming from the speedway starting at 7a (ET), with the green flag at approximately 1:30p (ET) plus full pre- and post-race coverage with expert analysis, reports from pit road and the garages, driver introductions and interviews with the race winner and other drivers.

SIRIUSXM will also offer additional Driver2Crew ChatterTM channels that will carry the in-car audio of several drivers as they compete in the DAYTONA 500, among them KYLE BUSCH, last year's winner JOEY LOGANO, DALE EARNHARDT, JR. and others.

SIRIUSXM NASCAR RADIO will also provide live coverage of the CAN-AM DUELS, the 150-mile NASCAR SPRINT CUP SERIES qualifying races, on THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 18th (6p ET), the NEXTERA ENERGY RESOURCES  250 NASCAR CAMPING WORKD TRUCK SERIES race on FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 19th (7p ET), and the POWER SHARES QQQ 300 NASCAR XFINITY SERIES race on SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20th (3p ET).

Each day leading up to the DAYTONA 500, fans will get up-to-the-moment news, analysis and interviews with drivers, owners and crew members on SIRIUSXM NASCAR RADIO.

On MONDAY, FEBRUARY 22nd, on THE MORNING DRIVE, hosts BAGLEY and PISTONE will be joined live in studio by the 2016 DAYTONA 500 champion driver, crew chief and owner.
