BOYZ II MEN singer SHAWN STOCKMAN and wife SHARHONDA will host MICAH'S VOICE Presents "Back In The Day," its second annual fundraiser to benefit families affected by autism, SUNDAY, APRIL 10th at the WARNER CENTER MARRIOTT in WOODLAND HILLS, CA. The evening will be MC'ed by actor, comedian and "The Late Late Show" host JAMES CORDEN and feature performances by BOYZ II MEN and R&B star TANK.
MICAH's VOICE will also honor L.A. CLIPPER star JAMAL CRAWFORD, MARTIN LAWRENCE with the ACT OF KINDNESS AWARD and LEAPS N BOUNDZ, an adaptive recreation program for children and young adults with special needs, with the VISIONARY AWARD. Honorees were selected for their selfless and invaluable efforts to enrich and support families affected by autism.
SHAWN and SHARHONDA STOCKMAN founded MICAH'S VOICE in 2013 to provide much-needed resources and financial support to families living with an autism diagnosis. After MICAH, one of the STOCKMANS' twin sons, was diagnosed with autism at an early age, they experienced firsthand how complex and expensive finding the proper resources and treatments for children with autism can be.
“It’s not just the child that’s affected by autism, the family is affected as well,” stated the STOCKMANS. “And our mission is to help these families enjoy the best quality of life possible. “
