CBS RADIO Country WDSY (Y108)/PITTSBURGH debuted its new “ALLY & ANDY” morning show TODAY (2/22), pairing seven-year station vet ALLY with producer/sidekick ANDY DAVIS. ALLY moves to mornings from middays; DAVIS is the leader of THE ANDY DAVIS BAND and is a pro-am snowboarder and sponsored hunter. The new show succeeds BRIAN “MONTY” MONTGOMERY and KATY ZAK, who exited the station in DECEMBER (NET NEWS 12/21).

CBS RADIO/PITTSBURGH OM and WDSY PD MARK ANDERSON tells ALL ACCESS, “Together [ALLY & ANDY] have a strong vision for a fresh new concept for morning radio: ‘Real Friends. Real Country. Real PITTSBURGH.’ I can’t wait for you to hear the energy and excitement that they will bring to Y108 as we continue to refresh our brand for 2016 and beyond.” No word yet on who will assume the midday slot.
