Fourteen Cumulus Stations In Three Markets Band Together To Help Tornado Victims

14 CUMULUS stations will bring the MOBILE, PENSACOLA and FORT WALTON BEACH/DESTIN communities together TODAY (2/26) through SUNDAY (2/28) to collect personal and household items and funds for listeners, friends and neighbors who were affected by this week's tornadoes in CENTURY and PENSACOLA.
The 14 radio stations from CUMULUS clusters in FORT WALTON BEACH/DESTIN, MELBOURNE and PENSACOLA will promote and staff the collection event TODAY from 11a-1p at SANTA ROSA MALL in FORT WALTON BEACH, from 4-6p at METRO PCS in NAVARRE and also from 4-6p at HAMPTON HYUNDAI in FORT WALTON BEACH. Tomorrow's collections will take place from 11a-2p at LEE NISSAN in FORT WALTON BEACH from 2-6p at SWEET SOUTHERN VAPES in NICEVILLE from 3-5p at METRO PCS in FORT WALTON BEACH and from 6-8p at MATTIE KELLY ARTS CENTER in NICEVILLE. SUNDAY, the relief drive continues from 11a-3p at TOYOTA OF FORT WALTON BEACH.
In addition to monetary donations that are needed, the stations are asking their communities to donate the following to help area tornado victims:
- Water
- Personal Hygiene items (Soap, toothpaste, shampoo, toilet paper, paper towels, razors, shaving cream, etc.)
- Household cleaning items
- Tarps
- Laundry detergent
- Baby items (diapers, wipes, clothes, etc.)
- Children’s items (Book bags, crayons, pens, pencils, paper, etc.)
- Clothing (Men, Women, Children)
- Non-perishable food items
People are asked to make monetary donations directed to the GULF COAST recovery effort through the AMERICAN RED CROSS and THE UNITED WAY. For more information, click here.
