Five more members of the House of Representatives and two more Senators have been added as co-sponsors of the Local Radio Freedom Act, a resolution that opposes "any new performance fee, tax, royalty, or other charge" on local broadcast radio stations. The resolution now has 225 co-sponsors in the House of Representatives and 23 in the Senate.
Adding their support for the Local Radio Freedom Act in the House are Reps. BRIAN BABIN (R-TX), KATHERINE CLARK (D-MA), TOM EMMER (R-MN), AL GREEN (D-TX) AND JOHN YARMUTH (D-KY) AND Sens. SUSAN COLLINS (R-ME) and DAN SULLIVAN (R-AK).
