More than 200 members of RIC LIPPINCOTT's family and many friends gathered YESTERDAY (2/28) at the 94th AERO SQUADRON RESTAURANT in VAN NUYS, CA to remember and celebrate RIC's life as a father, in the radio business, the record business, the real estate business and as a pilot.

His children AJA, RUDD, BRANDON and PAIGE as well as other family members like his girlfriend TERI HOGAN and son-in law TODD, told touching and funny stories of their life with RIC, as did many of his friends like ENTERCOM/MILWAUKEE VP/Programming BRIAN KELLY who served as Master Of Ceremonies.

It seemed only fitting that many of the speakers, who also included industry veterans KURT KELLY, MIMI CHEN, and HOWARD ROSEN, were challenged by the sound of the jet engines as the restaurant and services were just off to the side of the one of the runways of the busy private aviation airport.
