Tear Adds WWSW PD Duties; Drew Hall APD, Dylan MD At WKST

CLEAR CHANNEL Top 40 WKST (96.1 KISS FM)/PITTSBURGH PD ALEX TEAR is adding PD duties at sister Oldies WWSW (3WS), replacing SHERI VAN DYKE who remains in the programming department working with TEAR and focusing on her MD/middays duties.

Meanwhile, 96.1 KISS FM Creative Services Dir. DREW HALL is now APD. TEAR said, "DREW's format creativity, technical knowledge and overall master mixing ability earns him the very powerful position of getting all the late night calls. DREW’s alter personality DJ GOOFY WHITE KID and BEAVER will not elevate into upper management at this time."

TEAR continued, "With continued ratings growth over the past year, it’s time for MIKEY from the 96.1 KISS MORNING FREAK SHOW to constantly be in the arms of MORNING FREAK SHOW co-host BIG BOB as MIKEY dedicates full focus to waking up 'The Burgh.' Mikey has been practicing his multiple time checks 'That’s 7:10, 10 after 7, 6:70a ... GOOD MORNING!' MIKEY hands over the MD reins to afternoon personality DYLAN, who has been with us almost a year. He held similar duties at WNOU/Indianapolis."

But wait, there's more! "And, finally, FREAK SHOW morning character personality 'JORGE THE ECUADORIAN' launches his own two-hour show, 'JORGE & FRIENDS,' on PITTSBURGH'S 96.1 KISS. This two-hour SATURDAY show (10a-noon) is looking for syndication and features characters HELEN and SLICK RICK. This will be huge."
