Foo Fighters: Breaking Up? Not!

In a semi-serious interview with producer and musician BUTCH VIG, FOO FIGHTERS front man DAVE GROHL posted a YOUTUBE video announcing that he would be moving in a "new direction" from the band in the wake of his performance of "Blackbird" at the ACADEMY AWARDS for their "In Memoriam" piece.  The clip was obviously placed in response to the flurry of break-up rumors, and it's actually pretty amusing, as GROHL contemplates a movie into dance music.

According to GROHL's interview on YOUTUBE, "Maybe it's time for me to do my own thing ... There was something about being on-stage by myself. You know? Just me.  And nothing against those other guys, I love those guys and they love me!  I feel like they'd be really happy for me because I'm holding them back.  I'm setting them free! It's a win-win situation.  Those guys get to do their thing, and I get to find myself ... and be me." 

But according to the band's FACEBOOK page, "For the millionth time, we're not breaking up," read a statement in the video posted on the band's YOUTUBE account WEDNESDAY. "And nobody's going f------ solo!"
