Joey Feek Passes Away At 40

ALL ACCESS sends condolences to the family and friends of Country and Gospel duo JOEY AND RORY's JOEY FEEK, who passed away this AFTERNOON (3/4) after a hard-fought battle with stage four cervical cancer (NET NEWS 10/23/2015). She was 40.

JOEY's life and legacy has been chronicled by her husband, RORY, via his blog, and TODAY, he shared: "My wife's greatest dream came true TODAY. She is in HEAVEN. The cancer is gone, the pain has ceased and all her tears are dry. JOEY is in the arms of her beloved brother JUSTIN and using her pretty voice to sing for her savior." JOEY + RORY initially rose to fame as part of the CMT-TV reality singing competition "Can You Duet" in 2008. In the midst of JOEY's cancert battle, the couple recently released an album entitled "Hymns," which debuted at #1 on both the Country and Christian charts (NET NEWS 2/22).
