WDVE/Pittsburgh Wins Children's Miracle Network Award

iHEARTMEDIA Classic Rock WDVE/PITTSBURGH was awarded the Children's Miracle Network Hospitals 2015 English Radio Station of the Year Award at the organization's Momentum16 Awards held at DISNEY’s CORONADO SPRINGS RESORT in ORLANDO, FL on FEBRUARY 24th, 2016. Nominations were received from more than 170 Children's Miracle Network Hospitals nationwide, and were submitted by the hospitals' pediatric patients.

In PITTSBURGH, the patients' submission showcased 102.5 WDVE's outstanding dedication to the hospital through the DVE Rocks Children's Radiothon, a broadcast fundraiser that has raised $3.5 million over the last eight years. The radiothon features three days of live broadcasts with RANDY BAUMANN and the DVE morning show, MICHELE MICHAELS and SEAN MCDOWELL as well as local and national musicians performing and appearances by current PITTSBURGH STEELERS and PENGUINS players.
