Jack Benny Radio Writer George Balzer Dies

Condolences to family and friends of longtime TV comedy writer GEORGE BALZER, who died last THURSDAY of natural causes at 91. BALZER started writing for JACK BENNY's radio show in 1943 and stayed with the comic when he moved to TV, sticking with BENNY for 25 years. He also wrote for other radio comedians, including BURNS AND ALLEN, and co-wrote the book for a BROADWAY musical, "ARE YOU WITH IT?", in 1945.
