Former KISS guitarist VINNIE VINCENT's invasion of the U.S. SUPREME COURT was turned back when the Court decided not to hear his appeal of the dismissal of his suit against his former bandmates. VINCENT (VINCENT CUSANO) had sued in 1997 claiming $6 million in unpaid royalties for work on the album "LICK IT UP," but lower courts ruled that his work was as a salaried employee. VINCENT replaced ACE FREHLEY on the "CREATURES OF THE NIGHT" album and tour, got fired, returned for "LICK IT UP," was fired again, formed the VINNIE VINCENT INVASION, then worked on the 1992 KISS album "REVENGE."
