Displaced from its former radio home by a format change, MLS side LA GALAXY will stream its English-language play-by-play this season at its website. Longtime former GALAXY radio voice JOE TUTINO will return this season to call matches that are not being aired on TIME WARNER CABLE SPORTSNET, with RALPH PEREZ as analyst; when TWC carries the matches, FRED ROGGIN and ALLEN HOPKINS will alternate audio play-by-play duties.
Spanish-language broadcasts will air on LOTUS Spanish Sports KWKW-A (ESPN DEPORTES 1330)/LOS ANGELES, with ROLANDO GONZALEZ and ARMANDO AGUAYO back to call the action.
The GALAXY aired in 2015 on KFWB ASSET TRUST Sports KFWB-A (THE BEAST 980)/LOS ANGELES; with that station's sale to UNIVERSAL MEDIA ACCESS and flip to South Asian as DESI 980, the club was left to find alternate radio arrangements for the new season.
