NextRadio App Launching On New Samsung Smartphone Models

More Samsung Phones In The Fold

NEXTRADIO has announced that its App is now available on most new SAMSUNG Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge smartphones. These first two major smartphone releases are just the beginning of the large increase in FM chip-enabled mobile phones becoming available in 2016.

"We are excited that the number of ANDROID phones with FM radio continues to accelerate rapidly," NEXTRADIO Pres. PAUL BRENNER said. "The launch of the new Galaxy phones is a perfect start to 2016, since these phones are getting rave reviews and will be a top seller to millions of users who can now listen to free radio on their phone."

The nextradioapp-supported device page has been updated to reflect the new phones and carrier information. Both the SAMSUNG Galaxy S7 & S7 Edge sold by AT&T support the NEXTRADIO app download, SPRINT will have the NEXTRADIO app as a preload and the app is coming soon on T-MOBILE phones as a download in a future update release. These new smartphone releases will allow another 10 to 15 million customers to be able to use the NEXTRADIO app this year.
